In the light of the ongoing Coronavirus situation, it is with great sadness that we have to cancel the 2020 St Marylebone Festival.
At this difficult time, our focus remains to connect with our local community by telling local stories through our artistic activities. However, we rely on ticket sales, and sponsorship for our creative programme of events which has not been possible secure during these uncertain times. We will be refunding all tickets purchased to date.
We would be enormously grateful if you could make a donation to our work. Music and the arts is a wonderful way to bring people together, and is more important than ever in these uncertain times, and will continue to be, especially once this pandemic is over. All of us at the St Marylebone Festival wish you strength for coming days. We hope that a new programme of events can soon be announced for 24-30 July 2021. We look forward to welcoming you back again soon!

Help us on our South American journey by learning some basic steps of ‘authentic Argentine Tango’ with instructors from the world-renowned (and local) Arthur Murray Dance Studios.
No partner or experience neccessary
Shoes with a leather or suede sole are preferable. Women may prefer short heels. Wear comfortable clothes that let you move.
There will be an opportunity to take part in the 1pm lunchtime concert.
St Marylebone has deep-rooted connections with the Spanish community, and some of the South American ‘Liberators’ of the early nineteenth century, many of whom lived in the parish, thanks to the presence of the Spanish Embassy in Manchester Square (where the Wallace Collection is now housed), and of course our neighbouring St James' Spanish Place. The key ‘local’ players in the South American liberation were Simón Bolívar (1783-1830), who lived at 4 Duke Stree, José de San Martín (1778-1850), who lived at 23 Park Road, and Francisco de Miranda (1750-1816), Venezuelan military leader and revolutionary, who lived at 58 Grafton Way.
