About The Event
Very sadly, due to unforseen circumstances, we have been forced to cancel this walk. Tickets will be refunded within 24 hours.
St Marylebone resident and author, Charles Dickens was known for walking London’s streets. This afternoon we’re taking a stroll around the locations where he lived, wrote his novels and discovering the inspiration for some of his characters and learning about the support he gave to local charitable institutions. We’ll arrive at St Marylebone Parish Church in time for the evening’s concert (7:30pm). Tea, coffee and biscuits available upon arrival at the church, and reduced price admission available for the evening concert (see below)
Meet 4.30pm outside Chancery Lane Underground Station (North exit near Grays Inn Road)
This walk is led by Janice Liverseidge, London Blue Badge Tourist Guide and long time Marylebone resident.
